The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow, has released an official recruitment notification (Advertisement No. 14-Exam/2026) for the Auditor and Assistant Accountant Main Examination (PET-2025)/15. Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for the posts of Assistant Accountant (सहायक लेखाकार) and Auditor (लेखा परीक्षक) under various departments of the Uttar Pradesh Government.

Under this UPSSSC recruitment drive, a total of 1937 vacancies have been announced. Eligible candidates who meet the required educational standards and possess a valid Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET) scorecard, they can send in their application forms via the online portal. In terms of selection, it’s essentially about first doing a shortlisting step based on the PET-2025 normalized score, and only after that comes the Main Written Examination.

How to Apply in UPSSSC Auditor & Assistant Accountant Recruitment 2026

• Step 1: Go to the official UPSSSC web page at upsssc.gov.in, and yes just that.

• Step 2: On the Homepage, look for the 'Live Advertisement Segment', then tap the relevant notice (Advt. 14-Exam/2026).

• Step 3: Now authenticate, and login using your PET-2025 Registration Number. You will get an OTP on your registered mobile number, or email.

• Step 4: After you login, some basic personal info will automatically show up. Choose the particular posts like Assistant Accountant, or Auditor, whatever you actually want to apply for.

• Step 5: Fill in your educational segment, meaning the required Commerce degree/diploma and the 'O' Level certificate. Add board name, passing year, certificate number. Then type the verification code, and press “Submit”.

• Step 6: Next, add your departmental preferences and confirm your 'Other Details'. Then go through the Declaration and tick every checkbox properly, don’t miss any.

• Step 7: Click “Save and Submit”, and then move to the 'Fee Payment' gateway. Pay the online processing fee of Rs. 25/- through Credit/Debit card, UPI, Net Banking, or SBI E-challan.

• Step 8: After the payment is successful and fee reconciliation completes, your application will be submitted for real. Download the final application form and print it out. You can still edit some parts (like EWS category, address, and similar stuff) up until 10 August 2026.
