Uttar Pradesh RTE Admission 2026-27 has been officially announced by the Basic Education Department Government of Uttar Pradesh for free admission under the Right to Education Act 2009. Through UP RTE Free Admission 2026-27 children can get admission from Nursery LKG UKG to Class 1 in recognized private unaided schools. As per Section 12(1)(c) of the RTE Act 25 percent seats are reserved for children belonging to Disadvantaged Groups and Weaker Sections. The UP RTE Online Form 2026 will be available on the official portal rte25.upsdc.gov.in and the entire application process is online.

There is no application fee for any category. The child’s age will be calculated as on 01 April 2026 as per class eligibility rules. Selection will be done through a transparent online lottery system after document verification. Selected students will receive free education along with ₹5000 financial assistance for uniforms and books. Parents are advised to apply within the given schedule and avoid last-minute submission.

· Student's Age Proof: Birth Certificate.

· Residence Proof: Voter ID Ration Card Job Card Passport Driving License Electricity Bill or Water Bill.

· For Weaker Section: Income Certificate (issued by Tehsil) showing income up to ₹ 1 Lakh OR BPL/Antyodaya Card.

· For Disadvantaged Group: Caste Certificate (issued by Tehsildar) OR Medical Certificate (for disabled/HIV/Cancer patients) OR Orphan Certificate.

· Student's Photograph: Recent passport-size photo.

RTE Nursery, LKG, UKG & Class 1 Admissions 2026: Eligibility Criteria

1. Disadvantaged Group (Alaabhit Samooh):

· Children belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) Scheduled Tribe (ST) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes.

· Children with disabilities (Divyang).

· Children of parents suffering from HIV or Cancer.

· Orphaned children.

2. Weaker Section (Durbal Varg):

· Children whose parents/guardians hold a BPL Card (Antyodaya).

· Children of parents receiving Disability/Old Age/Widow Pension.

· Children whose parents' maximum annual income is up to ₹ 1.00 Lakh.

Admission is available for two main categories of children residing in the ward/gram panchayat where the school is located:

· Online Application: Parents apply online selecting up to 10 schools in their neighborhood (Ward/Gram Panchayat).

· Verification: The Block Education Officer (BEO) and BSA verify the documents online.

· Lottery System: A centralized online lottery is conducted by the District Magistrate to allot schools.

UPRTE Nursery to Class 1 Free Admissions 2026: Financial Assistance (Uniform & Books)

The State Government provides ₹ 5000/- per year to the parents of admitted children for purchasing uniforms bags and books. This amount is transferred directly to the parent's Aadhaar-linked bank account.

1. Visit the official website rte25.upsdc.gov.in.

2. Click on Online Application / Student Login".

3. Register by entering the District Area (Urban/Rural) Town/Block Gram Panchayat/Ward Student Name Mobile Number and DOB.

4. Login with the Sarkari Admission Registration ID and complete the form.

5. Upload the required documents (Caste/Income certificate photo etc.).

6. Select up to 10 nearby schools in order of preference.

7. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
