Postgraduate Institute Of Medical Education And Research Chandigarh has released recruitment notification for Senior Resident, Senior Medical Officer and Demonstrator vacancies. According to the notification, total 134 posts are available in this recruitment process. Out of total vacancies, 119 posts are for PGIMER Chandigarh and remaining 15 posts are for Sangrur Satellite Centre Punjab. · Computer Based Test (CBT): Consists of 50 questions to be answered within 50 minutes, totalling up to 75 marks. The negative marking system of 0.25 marks will be applied.

· Shortlisting: The shortlisting process is done using the CBT scores with a ratio of 1:3.

· Departmental Assessment: This includes the verification of documents and 25 marks for the departmental interview/assessment.

· Merit List: The merit list is made after considering the score of CBT and Assessment together.
