The National Testing Agency has released the official notification for NTA JEE Main 2026 Session 2 in January 2026. The online application process began on 01 February 2026, and the last date to submit the application form was 25 February 2026. JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination will be conducted from 02 April 2026 to 09 April 2026 at designated exam centres across the country.

NTA JEE Main Session-2 according to official estimates, nearly 9 to 11 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the Session 2 examination. The exam will be conducted for a total of three papers, including Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A for B.Arch, and Paper 2B for B.Planning. The examination will be held in two shifts each day. Shift 1 will take place in the morning from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon or 12:30 PM, while Shift 2 will be conducted in the afternoon from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM or 06:30 PM, depending on the paper.

How to NTA JEE Main Session-2 Registration 2026

1. Visit official NTA JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in to start your registration.

2. select registration Aadhaar or other government-issued IDs for secure e-KYC Sarkari Exam verification.

3. Fill personal details carefully including name date of birth and parent name.

4. Select the examination session and papers wish to appear for in the current cycle.

5. Choose up to four examination cities based on preference for the test centre allocation.

6. Capture live photo using a webcam and upload a scanned passport-size photo and signature.

7. Upload documents Class 10 and 12 certificates in the required PDF file format.

8. Pay application fee online using UPI, Net Banking, or Credit/Debit card the gateway.

9. Download and save the final confirmation page for your future records and counselling process sessions.
