 Chief Engineer - B.Tech/B.E./1st class Motor or Steam Certificates with 7 yrs. relevant experience
 Master Marine - Master Mariners with 7 yrs. relevant experience
 Electrical Officer - B.E./M.Tech(Electrical Engg.) with 7yrs. experience or Electrical Officer with 10 yrs. sailing experience in ship/Ex-Indian Navy Electrical Officer Instructor - CH. Officer of Merchant Navy or PO and above rank (Seaman) of Indian Navy for nautical science POME and above rank of Indian Navy or engine Fitter with 10yrs. Sailing experience in Merchant Navy for Marine Engineering
Scale of Pay : Applicable as per 6th Pay Commission & AICTE notification no.:F.No.37-3/legal/2010
