Deputation to the posts of Directors each for (Project-I, Project-II, &Technical; Joint Directors each for Project-I & Technical and Deputy Director (IT)

National Rural Roads Development Agency (NRRDA), has been set up under the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) as an autonomous agency for providing Technical and Management Support for the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). The Agency requires services of suitable officers on transfer on deputation basis for the following posts from the Central/ State Government/ PSUs/ Autonomous Bodies/ Research Institutes, etc. The educational qualification, experience, age, etc for the posts are as under.

1. Director (Project- I) & Director (Tech) - (one post each):
The officer to be considered should hold analogous post or have three to five years’ experience in senior level post equivalent to Superintending Engineer/ Chief Engineer in Govt. Ministry / Department either at the Centre or State and have Educational Qualifications and experience as under.
Educational Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University. Person holding a Doctorate or a Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in the related areas of Civil Engineering works in road construction will be preferred.

Experience Profile:
The officer to be considered should be preferably in the age group of 40-50 years but not exceeding 55 years* and have about 10-15 years’ experience in the Field / Research activities in a Civil Engineering Deptt. in technical institutions with sufficient experience in Project Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects and fully conversant with procedures, Technical specifications etc. in road construction.

2. Director (Project – II) - (one post):
The officer to be considered should be preferably in the age group of 40-50 years but not exceeding 55 years* and hold analogous post or be working in the Central Govt./State Govt./Central Govt. PSUs/State PSUs at the level of Superintending Engineer for atleast 5 years.

Experience Profile:
The Officer concerned should have experience of at least 3 years in Planning Construction, Quality Control and Maintenance of Roads/Highways. Officers having experience in managing projects funded by the Multilateral Agencies (like World Bank, Asian Development Bank) would be accorded preference.

3. Joint Director (Project-1) & Joint Director (Tech) - (one post each):
The officer to be considered should hold analogous post or at the level of Superintending Engineer or Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of India or equivalent post at least for 3 years.

Educational Qualification:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University. Person holding a Doctorate or a Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in the related areas of Civil Engineering works in road construction will be preferred.

Experience Profile:
The officer to be considered should be preferably in the age group of 35-45 years but not exceeding 55 years and have minimum 5 years’ experience in Civil Engineering works related to the field of activity in Road Construction, conversant with Project Appraisals, Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects, Technical Specification etc. in road construction.

4. Deputy Director (IT) - (one post):
The officer to be considered should hold analogous post or at least for 3 years in a post equivalent to Under Secretary in Government Ministry / Department.

Educational Qualification& Experience Profile:
The officer to be considered should be preferably in the age group of 35-45 years but not exceeding
55 and Graduate in Statistics / Mathematics operations, Economics/ Commerce / B.Tech. / B.E.(Computer Engineering) /Computer Science/MCA with 5-10 years’ experience in Management of Computer Network/Software Engineering/ERP and interfacing with maintenance agencies.
(*upper age limit for the above posts is likely to be raised from 55 to 57 years)
